Our next recipient this month is Chrys Anglesey - New Bridge Elementary Site Tech
"Chrys has become a great problem solver because she likes the challenge of figuring things out. On top of being an awesome site tech, she instructs in the classroom to allow teachers to have dedicated prep time. She has taught students things that some adults don't even know how to do! It is great fun to see the elementary kids using creative programs, making slide show presentations and using real-world technology. Chrys is always turning challenges into opportunities for the entire New Bridge staff."

Having served in roles from playground monitor to behavior interventionist across several elementary schools in our district, "Mrs. H" tried to retire, but she couldn't stay away from the incredible community here. Here is why she chooses Ogden:
"No matter what school I go to, I see a familiar face. To see those faces light up and hear 'Mrs. H' warms my heart. I thought I was building their sense of community, but the children are actually building my sense of community. As long as I am physically able, I choose to sub in Ogden schools."

As an alumnus of Hillcrest Elementary, Highland Junior High, and Ben Lomond High, Daniel’s journey with Ogden School District has come full circle. Here is why he chooses Ogden:
"I am lucky to teach here at Ben Lomond High School. Ogden has the best music students in the whole state and that is why I choose Ogden."

From inspiring messages to celebrating educators, we’re stepping into this year with purpose. A huge congratulations to our Employees of the Year. We also want to give a special shoutout to our Team of the Year: the Education Support Professionals from Malan's Peak!
We were deeply moved by guest speaker Brad Snyder, a veteran and Paralympic athlete who shared an unforgettable message on strength, mindset, and perseverance.
This year, we are embracing our district theme: "The Power of YET." Because growth doesn't stop, learning doesn't end, and the best is truly YET to come!
To all of our amazing teachers and staff: thank you for your dedication, passion, and endless hard work. We are ready to make this our best school year YET!
Students, we’re ready for you! See you all this Friday! 👋

💜 Because people in many different roles believed in me, supported me, and never gave up on me, I found the strength to keep going. 🙌 Their care helped carry me through school to graduation. 🎓✨ I'm Nevaeh and I Choose Ogden.

We had an incredible time at our Opportunity Center Open House! Our family liaisons were on site assisting families with school registration, handing out supplies, and connecting parents with amazing local partners like Midtown Clinic, United Way, and many more.
From live student performances to our "Many Hands" community art project, it was a day full of connection and support. Thank you to everyone who joined us. We are community and opportunity for ALL! 🎨📚🤝
