Learning

Through the use of innovative structures and systems and a technology-rich environment, New Bridge students actively engage in learning with a focus on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). We are proud to be supported by leading corporate industry partners.

New Bridge School has received the Platinum STEM School Designation by the Utah Board of Education (USBE). The Utah STEM Schools Designation program helps define and standardize the elements that create a comprehensive STEM learning environment.

What We Are Learning

Kindergarten

Dear Families,

This year we're going to use a new tool to share what we're learning in class called Seesaw. Your child will have his or her own learning journal, and you can get notified when your child adds new items. It's completely private -- only you can see your child's journal outside of class.

Your child’s teacher can provide you will a QR code or email you a link you can use to sign up.

Once you sign up, you can download the Seesaw Family app for iPhone or Android, or access your child's journal on the web.

Thanks!

P.S. If you have more than one child using Seesaw, or want to add a new class/school year for your child, follow the link in this email, then click 'Sign in' tab at the top. You do not need to create a new account.

Parents can stay up to date on things going on in 2nd grade and view photos of student learning by signing up for the Seesaw Parent Application on their phone or computer. Parents have been provided with details on how to sign-up for Seesaw on Back-to-School night and frequent notes sent home. If parents have any questions on how to sign-up or need access to their login information they need to contact their student's teacher.

Another way parents can stay up to date on learning that is taking place in the classroom is by checking the weekly newsletter on the front of the homework packet.
